Welcome to our serene retreat at Villa Horizonte! Nestled in the tranquil mountains of Costa Rica, our minimalist oasis is the perfect haven for those seeking a peaceful home base to unwind, recharge, and explore the tropical nearby towns. Our first level apartment is fenced in and boasts tall greenery, for your privacy and peace of mind. With two simple bedrooms and bathrooms, Villa Horizonte comfortably accommodates up to four guests!

Both bedrooms have been designed to create a comfortable and simple ambiance, filled with natural light, serving as mother nature's alarm clock to wake you up and start your day of adventure! Whip up small meals and store any leftovers from dining out in the unique hotel-style kitchen space (see below for more details!) Enjoy your food in the open living space while watching your favorite shows on the smart TV, or take it out to the patio at the 4-person dining table and take in the gentle breeze and lush greenery surrounding your retreat.

One of the highlights of Villa Horizonte is the private infinity pool area where you can take refreshing dips and bask in the warm tropical sun. Spend your days lounging on the comfortable poolside chairs, immersing yourself in the serenity of the surroundings. The pool is a wonderful spot to unwind, read a book, or simply soak up the tranquility this area has to offer. Make sure to keep an eye out for Costa Rica’s unique furry friends, like Howler Monkeys, Iguanas, and Motmots, all of which can be seen right from the patio!

** DETAILS TO NOTE **
-Please note that the owners live upstairs, but they will not be a bother during your stay! The pool will be totally yours during your stay and is not shared with the owners. Only the laundry room is shared.
-Your booking automatically includes a damage protection policy. Should any minor accidental damages occur during your stay, we will cover you up to $1000. We understand accidents happen, so we've got your back! However, if we determine damage was willful or negligent, we will charge an additional cost based on the damage itself.
-We have a no-tolerance rule about parties and loud noise, so please be aware that complaints from neighbors, notifications from authorities, notifications from our noise monitoring software, or any other proof of disruptive behavior or loud noise between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM will result in fines of up to $1000.00, possible eviction and / or possible legal action if authorities are involved.
-*Important* If you are a Costa Rica resident booking with a local credit card, you will get charged IVA from your bank automatically aside from the AirBNB tax and will need to handle this directly with your bank. This is a separate localized fee that is done automatically outside of AirBNB.
